ROOTED IN THE WORD
We want to follow Jesus and let Scripture guide our faith, worship, and daily life. These convictions invite you to study the Bible with us and ask questions along the way.
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our complete guide for faith, worship, and Christian living. We seek to follow the Scriptures rather than human traditions, creeds, or doctrines.
2 TIMOTHY 3:16–17 · COLOSSIANS 3:17
We believe in the one true and living God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
MATTHEW 28:19 · 2 CORINTHIANS 13:14
We believe that Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God, who came into the world, died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. Salvation is possible only through Him.
JOHN 3:16 · JOHN 14:6 · 1 CORINTHIANS 15:1–4
We believe salvation is God's gift of grace through Jesus Christ and is received through an obedient faith. The gospel calls us to hear God's Word, believe in Christ, repent of our sins, confess Jesus as Lord, and be baptized into Christ for the forgiveness of sins.
ROMANS 10:17 · MARK 16:16 · ACTS 2:38 · ROMANS 10:9–10 · GALATIANS 3:27
We believe Jesus promised, “I will build My church” (Matthew 16:18). Christ is the Head of His church, and Christians are called to be members of His body. We seek simply to be Christians, following the pattern revealed in the New Testament.
MATTHEW 16:18 · EPHESIANS 1:22–23 · COLOSSIANS 1:18
We gather on the first day of the week to worship God through prayer, teaching, giving, observing the Lord's Supper, and singing praises to God. Our congregational singing is without instrumental accompaniment as we seek to follow the New Testament pattern of worship.
ACTS 2:42 · ACTS 20:7 · 1 CORINTHIANS 16:1–2 · EPHESIANS 5:19
Becoming a Christian is the beginning of a new life. We believe Christians are called to grow spiritually, love one another, serve others, share the gospel, pursue holiness, and remain faithful to Christ throughout life.
ROMANS 6:4 · GALATIANS 5:22–23 · REVELATION 2:10
We believe Jesus Christ will return, the dead will be raised, all people will stand before God in judgment, and the faithful will enjoy eternal life with Him.
JOHN 5:28–29 · ACTS 17:30–31 · 1 THESSALONIANS 4:16–17
